Goaltending is my passion. I learned to skate specifically to play as a goalie. I love watching plays unfold, communicating with my teammates and talking to my coaches about what I see from the cage. For me, I love defending the net and being an active goalie. Stick poking and breaking up passes are my favorite movements to support the defense and surprise the shooters. Every practice I challenge myself for a new positioning and understanding of my defense.
I have a deep respect for the goaltenders of the 70s, 80’s and 90’s. Hockey has been part of my family and in our blood for the last 30 years. My favorite goalie is Andrei Vasilevskiy. . I love to watch how he tracks the puck, and his very clean movement around the crease. But I also like to watch old games of Dominic Hasek for their active goaltending and ability to challenge a shooter without fear.
The business of hockey fascinates me. I want to be a professional goaltender as my dream job, but no matter my destiny, I know for a fact I want to be involved in hockey operations; whether as a goalie coach, scout, advisor, or logistics. I am happiest when playing and being around the sport in general.
My outside hobbies though include playing tennis, pickleball, lacrosse, swimming, playing street hockey with my friends and mom, chess, and traveling with my family.
